Check out this Tru by Hilton full video tour in Panama City Beach on my TikTok. We had gone to visit an old family friend who was visiting one of his other old family friends in Panama City Beach. It was just a quick trip, two nights with no serious beach activities planned.
Which is good if you are staying here because it is not by the beach. I mean it’s closer to the beach than where I live or perhaps where you live but it’s not a beachfront hotel at all. It is, however, nearby the Publix Sports Park so if you’re there for a baseball tournament it is ideally located. They had the USSSA World Series (one of them) going on the weekend we were there so there were a number of baseball families staying there.
It is a pretty new hotel and as such is in excellent condition. Everything is nice and works and it has some pretty cool features in the room. Like, a wireless charging phone alarm clock/maybe radio on the nightstand, and electricated automated blackout blinds on the window.
The breakfast was so good. I made a breakfast sandwich out of their bagel, omelette, and sausage one morning and had pancakes made by an automatic pancake maker the other. The juice from the juice machine is also not watered down like I find in so many places. They get your day started out right for sure!

@letsgoseesomething Tru by Hilton in Panama City Beach, a tour. It is a pretty new looking nicely appointed hotel. Great breakfast buffet which wasn't included in this video unfortunately. I really liked the electric blinds in the room. Not near the beach but it's close to the Publix Sports Park. They had the USSSA World Series going on when we were there so lots of baseball families were staying.
